Since
1966, we have stood for functional, tested accessories and special
conversions for off-road and special-purpose vehicles. With
5,000 partners in a Europe-wide dealer network and our own direct
online shop, we offer more than 700 in-house developed and
TÜV-approved products, as well as a range of international premium
off-road brands. In our development department, we create solutions
that adapt international products to European vehicles and deliver
function-optimized upgrades for adventure, work, and operational
use—from overlanding setups to fire brigade equipment. In our
workshops in Kulmbach and Anthering (Austria), we install, combine,
and integrate accessories precisely for each vehicle—right through
to TÜV approval. As a listed supplier to leading manufacturers and
with comprehensive spare parts and service support, we guarantee
quality and reliability.
History
Taubenreuther began in 1966 in Kulmbach, when Bernd Taubenreuther Sr., together with his brother Dieter, founded a company for construction and agricultural machinery—driven by vision and foresight that extended far beyond national borders. Early on, he expanded the product range to include snowmobiles, special vehicles, and WARN winches from the USA, for whose import and distribution Taubenreuther later became known throughout Europe.
After the sudden death of company founder Bernd Taubenreuther, his wife Gisela continued to run the business successfully together with their sons Peter and Axel. Inspired by their parents’ travels to the USA and Scandinavia, the brothers brought fresh ideas and strong technical innovation into the company. In the 1980s and 1990s, they helped establish the ARB brand in Europe, developed their own mounting kits, and became co-founders of the 4×4 scene.
Just as the company had stabilized again after difficult years, a fire marked a dramatic turning point: in 1991, the company burned down completely. Everything seemed lost. Yet suppliers, partners, and friends stood loyally by the family’s side, helping with hands-on support, loans, and trust during the rebuilding process. This was an impressive proof that at Taubenreuther you are not just a business partner, but part of a big family.
Today, they not only stand for over 700 in-house products with over a thousand individual certificates, but also for six decades of pioneering work. More than a company - an institution in the off-road and special vehicle sector in Central Europe - with eyes directed towards the world, open to innovation and technology that works - worldwide.

Years of development work and extensive experience make our mounting plates with TÜV parts approvals one of our key core competencies. They offer maximum legal security, minimize risks, and guarantee perfectly fitting solutions precisely tailored to your vehicle. This range is complemented by our winch mounts, which create the ideal connection between your off-roader and high-quality WARN winches.
Another central topic for many of our customers is vehicle protection. Protecting the underside and sides of your off-road vehicle plays a crucial role—both for your safety and in preventing costly damage. For this reason, we offer a comprehensive range of underbody protection plates, which we continuously develop further. We are currently also focusing on modern rock slider, which until now have only been available for selected vehicles. It’s therefore worth checking our product range regularly.
In addition, we proudly present our solutions for cargo bed and roof rack systems. So-called Muli Racks have long been standard among manufacturers in the USA, but are still rare on the European market. Thanks to our developments, you can now combine a wide variety of components on the roof or cargo bed of your vehicle in a practical and flexible way. Muli Racks are ideal for use with roof rack systems such as those from Rhino Rack, but they also open up possibilities for individual conversions and custom projects with tailored solutions.

For Winches up to max. 4,5t pulling force.We recommend the WARN M8000 1-265024 in conjunction with the contactorbox mounting bracket 16-06370 and Multimount winch carrier kit 1-263790, because only in this combination the winch can also be used at the rear with the tailgate fully open.The carrier set then includes the bolt, splint and the cover for the square receiver.In addition, this separately ordered set also includes the cable set 1-35290 for the front, which is 1x 32,5cm and 1x 65cm on the winch side and 2x 220cm long on the vehicle side. The typical 2 pin Anderson connectors are already attached and the cable ends are provided with cable lugs.The mounting kit itself comes with a fuse kit, which should be integrated into the positive cable.Appropriate cable lengths for the rear and other fuses must be determined depending on the installation situation itself.Suitable plugs and cables can be found under the item accessories.We highly recommend to additonal use the Mulit-Mount winch carrier kit 1-263790
